Due to the recent military campaign in Syria and the direct and continuous targeting of medical centers, patients have been forced to evacuate for their safety. Among these patients was Marouf, a one-month-old baby who was referred from Heritan Hospital to Al-Firdous Hospital in the city of Daret Azeh due to potential meningitis.
The newborn baby was admitted to the isolation room upon his arrival at Al-Fardous Hospital. Clinical examination showed that he was suffering from a bulging anterior fontanel.
After receiving care from the hospital, Marouf’s condition significantly improved. He was able to go off medication and was subsequently discharged from the hospital in perfect health.
