Donate NowAt the heart of our university campus stands a mosque, a place of solace and spiritual rejuvenation for students navigating the challenges of displacement and poverty. For many, it is more than a house of worship—it is a sanctuary where they can seek comfort, find strength, and reconnect with community amidst the pressures of academic life and the realities of living in a conflict zone. The mosque fosters a sense of community and hope, reminding students that they are not alone in their journey. However, the mosque remains incomplete, and we need your support to finish and furnish this space. Together, we can provide a refuge of peace and prayer for these resilient students as they strive to rebuild their futures.

Donate NowConstruction has already begun on the teaching hospital for our nonprofit university iUSR, in northwestern Syria. This is a vital project that promises to transform the lives of refugee students living in poverty and the communities they serve. This facility will provide aspiring doctors with the hands-on training they need to heal a region devastated by war. However, we’ve hit a financial roadblock—without additional funding, we cannot complete the building or equip it with the necessary tools and resources. Your support is critical to finishing this project and ensuring these students have a chance to rebuild their futures through medicine. Every contribution brings us closer to opening the doors of hope and healing. Will you help us complete this vital mission?

Donate NowThis winter, countless families in Northern Syria and Jordan will confront the bitter cold and wetness without the essentials needed to stay warm and safe. For many, the drop in temperature isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s life-threatening. With winter temperatures plunging as low as -6°C (21°F) in some regions, snowstorms, freezing winds, and cold rains are common, especially for those living in makeshift shelters. After years of conflict and displacement, many families have lost their homes and access to even the most basic resources, making the harsh winter months a season of survival against the elements.
In response, SRD is providing immediate relief through Winter Care Packages for those in need. These packages are designed to equip families with the tools they need to protect themselves from the cold and minimize the risks posed by severe weather. The items included are thermal blankets, warm clothing and shoes —basic supplies that can make all the difference in enduring Syria and Jordan’s harsh winter conditions.
We are offering several donation options to help make an impact:
Your support is critical. By donating, you can help deliver warmth and safety to families struggling to survive. Together, we can provide immediate relief and restore hope to those facing the freezing cold. Join SRD in our effort to ensure no family is left unprotected this winter.

SRD provides vocational training to beneficiaries along with necessary education to humanitarian aid workers in the sectors of health, protection, and early recovery. With 2.4 million children out of school and 1.6 million at risk of dropping out,” education remains a critically neglected sector with both short-term and long-term implications for Syria’s youth, aspiring workforce, and for those who have been forced into the role of primary breadwinner due to the conflict, particularly women and children. The continued provision of informal education coupled with more formal initiatives to train and equip individuals with the tools and resources to overcome difficulties in both the short and long-term.
