Emergency Response

“When you cheer us on, my friends and I are happy,” said one of the children. “Especially since we don’t have any games or a garden to play in.”

Awareness sessions on constructive criticism, alternatives to punishment, positive and negative reinforcement, and the importance of a good relationship between parents and children and their role in raising children are held as part of the emergency response team’s work in the Kafr Takharim area to the neighboring camps. Children are given different activities to help them cope with their psychological stress.

“I mean, the sessions are totally suitable to reality,” one of the women in the room said. “Indeed, we are unsure of how we should think and act with our children during this time. I sincerely hope that we can really understand them, God willing.”
