DONATEIn Syria, over 12 million people are food insecure1 and 1.3 million are severely food insecure. Conditions are particularly dire for children with over 553,000 children are chronically malnourished and 245,000 are acutely malnourished. 2 One in three pregnant women is anemic due to inadequate nutrition.10 Deteriorating economic conditions in Syria and the impact of the COVI-19 pandemic have contributed to such exponential rates of food insecurity and malnutrition among the population. Vital interventions like ready-to-eat therapeutic food and infant and young child feeding (IYCF) programs targeting pregnant and lactating women and their children have proven essential for addressing the hunger crisis.

DONATEThe recent developments in Syria have left thousands of families in desperate need of humanitarian assistance, and SRD is tirelessly working on the ground to deliver life-saving support. We have mobilized ambulances to provide emergency medical care, addressing critical needs during this challenging time. To combat hunger, we are distributing food kits to struggling families, offering immediate relief and a glimmer of hope. As part of our commitment to long-term care, we are preparing to open a hospital to perform life-saving surgeries and provide specialized care for women and children, ensuring the most vulnerable receive the treatment they urgently need.
Many of these individuals have faced displacement countless times, living in relentless instability, enduring hunger, freezing winters, and unimaginable hardships. Right now, they need us—and we need you.
Your support can bring hope and make a life-saving difference. Please join us in providing critical medical care and essential aid to those who need it most.

DONATEConstruction has already begun on the teaching hospital for our nonprofit university iUSR, in northwestern Syria. This is a vital project that promises to transform the lives of refugee students living in poverty and the communities they serve. This facility will provide aspiring doctors with the hands-on training they need to heal a region devastated by war. However, we’ve hit a financial roadblock—without additional funding, we cannot complete the building or equip it with the necessary tools and resources. Your support is critical to finishing this project and ensuring these students have a chance to rebuild their futures through medicine. Every contribution brings us closer to opening the doors of hope and healing. Will you help us complete this vital mission?

DONATEThis winter, countless families in Northern Syria and Jordan will confront the bitter cold and wetness without the essentials needed to stay warm and safe. For many, the drop in temperature isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s life-threatening. With winter temperatures plunging as low as -6°C (21°F) in some regions, snowstorms, freezing winds, and cold rains are common, especially for those living in makeshift shelters. After years of conflict and displacement, many families have lost their homes and access to even the most basic resources, making the harsh winter months a season of survival against the elements.
In response, SRD is providing immediate relief through Winter Care Packages for those in need. These packages are designed to equip families with the tools they need to protect themselves from the cold and minimize the risks posed by severe weather. The items included are thermal blankets, warm clothing and shoes —basic supplies that can make all the difference in enduring Syria and Jordan’s harsh winter conditions.
We are offering several donation options to help make an impact:
Your support is critical. By donating, you can help deliver warmth and safety to families struggling to survive. Together, we can provide immediate relief and restore hope to those facing the freezing cold. Join SRD in our effort to ensure no family is left unprotected this winter.
