The Abyan Health Center has been providing health services to people in Aleppo, Syria’s western countryside, and surrounding areas, since 2016. There is a daily vaccination team and a mobile team that delivers vaccination services in the local communities and camps.
A transportation car takes the elderly and those with special needs to and from the center. Nurses and infection control workers provide awareness and preventive measures to the beneficiaries before entering the center. The center offers a variety of key services, including:
- An obstetrics and newborn care department
- A pediatric clinic
- An internal clinic
- A first-aid clinic
A midwife, nurse, psychological counselor, and community health workers operate the family planning clinic, providing reproductive health services and health education to six villages. The center also provides free medicines through this center’s pharmacy.
