We are excited to announce an essential project for the Syrian community: the construction of a new University Teaching Hospital that will provide world-class medical services to thousands of families in need while refining the skills of a new generation of doctors in Syria. The hospital will be able to serve 350 patients at a time, providing a critical resource to an underserved area. With a total cost of $1,075,000, we’ve already raised $357,400, but we need your help to make this life-changing project a reality. The International University for Science and Renaissance (IUSR), established in March 2017 in Azaz, northern Syria, is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to empowering Syrian youth through both in-person and online education. IUSR focuses on creating long-term change through education, aiming to help students rise above hardship and build a better future for themselves and their communities.
For the past 13 years, SRD (Syrian Relief and Development) has been a leader in providing quality healthcare in Syria, running multiple hospitals and ensuring medical care reaches even the most remote areas. Our experience in operating under challenging conditions guarantees that this new hospital in Azzaz will exceed expectations and provide life-saving services for many years to come.
