“I’ve learned that health and cleanliness are very important, and now I want to work in a team like the Elmo Health Team as a person who helps people and cares for them,” said Anas, a displaced child in Syria.
He attended SRD’s Ahlan Simsim Program in Northwest Syria. One of its objectives is to increase public knowledge of health issues affecting the displaced population in Syria and how good hygiene impacts population health. The Ahlan Simsim project aims to increase young children’s access to high-quality, efficient early childhood development programs in northwest Syria.
