Health
SRD has operated in the health sector since 2011 through a holistic and interdisciplinary approach aimed at addressing overall health and well-being. An integrated focus on public health through community health programs have been complementary to the multilevel health network in place. Health programs operate on the notion of a continuum of care. Without addressing health concerns on every level of the medical spectrum, neglected conditions affect other components of health and, ultimately, the social fabric of society, as a healthy population is the cornerstone of a thriving society.

Nutrition
SRD’s nutrition programs assist pregnant and lactating women, young women and girls who were married early, and children under the age of 5, all of whom are vulnerable groups in need of priority assistance. We are teaming up with medical workers based at medical facilities such as our Maternity and Pediatric Hospitals and our 3 Primary Mobile Health Clinics and Community Health Sites. Our nutrition interventions aim to educate and raise awareness at the household and community levels to ensure a high impact on such an urgent issue.
